| On route to Nyungwe and Bweyeye |
During the first day in Kigali, we
finalised our preparations for the mission.
It took no less than 12 hours hard driving on bad roads (made even worse
by the rainy season) – with the inevitable unexpected surprises en-route-
before we reached south-west Rwanda.
Our first trip was to the buffer zone in
the Nyungwe National Park. For the
scientists Assoumpta and Jérôme: they were hoping to solve the mystery
surrounding the Amanita of
Bweyeye… this saga to be continued
